What colour tack...

... for a coloured mare?!!

Not a lover of black tack (apart from dressage gear!) - dont ask me why, looks great on other people's horses, just never go for it myself!

Not talking about showing tack here either... always liked brown tack BUT

would you go for traditional dark brown leather, or stick your neck out and go lighter?

I do like tan saddles, but it has to look right!

Lady in question is mostly white with a little colour on either flank, a black mix tail and a coloured head! (Umm... looks a lot nicer than it sounds!!!

)

I would probs go for traditional dark brown/ havanna tack, nice a simple because I personally think it would look much along side with a coloured. I'd want people to be looking at there markings rather than there tack

I only really like tan tack for western. Not many horses suit it with english tack IMO. I would personally go with dark brown.

I would go for dark brown..... though on my appy, I have a chestnut colour, the same as her spots...

dark havanna, or havanna oiled suits all colours so versitile. the color on black runs and ends up looking patchy and cheap. best english if you can afford it!
