What colour tack for a black dales pony?

I prefer black on a black horse but it depends what you are doing with them e.g. if your showing it is correct to have Havana tack not black

That's the thing... we're not really doing anything at the moment. Can't decide whether to show, or to go down the riding club dressage and SJ route :/

I'd say black on black.
I know of a girl who shows county level in black tack on a black Welsh D. Wins quite a lot as well.

Its up to your opinion, I think both are nice!
Id just give you the advice of sticking with what colour you chose.. and if you alreday have a saddle stick to that colour.
Only because I had black tack and really wanted brown, so I started buying brown stuff, realised I was buying the stuff I already had but just in different colour and would have to buy a new saddle, so changed my mind an decided to buy black stuff to match. But when my instructor said I needed a new type of saddle It took me twice as long as it would have if I got a black one, but I hunted a brown one down in the end! haha
Now I finally have all brown tack appart from a breastplate (on my long list of horse products to buy)
