Bought a new jacket last week. I can't decide what colour stock or tie to get to go with it.

What does everyone think would look nice?

Here is the jacket:

and in case anyone wants to match up with my horse as well, here she is:

Jammie dodgers for anyone who can advise :-)

Are they the same colour of Jodhs? What colour is your shirt? I'd probably go for a green or navy however not sure how that would go with brown tweed, or you could even go for a brown? I think it's just a case of trial and error.

My tweed is brown but with burgundy lines so I wear a burgundy tie with yellow dots, but my Jodhs and shirt are more of a 'creamier' colour. I also have a green tweed that I wear with a plain navy tie - it has navy velvet around the collars.

Does the jacket look brown in that picture. It's more of a grey tweed with a black collar. I think anything would go, but I'm not sure about a pattern or plain?

My jods are beige and my shirt is white, but I could do with new smart jods anyway, and I don't mind investing in a new shirt, but think white is probably best with the grey.

My tack is black as well if that helps :-)

Ah sorry, it might be my resolution, I thought it was brown. In that case I'd stick with a plain coloured tie. Again, I'd say a green would probably go nicely. Would be interesting to hear other people's opinions.

You can go pretty much any colour you like with a grey tweed, as your horse is darkish grey I'd choose red or burgundy, something uplifting!
