I'd like everyones views on what is the best colour to paint a 3.5t horsebox, it's a converted van type and is to be sold so my dad really wants to make sure it is painted in the best possible colour as it can make or break a sale. Also has to look right on the size of the lorry.....

So please suggest away colour combos, patterns, artwork etc etc or put on pics or direct me to pics of you favourites!!

Many thanks!

The two lorries that we hire are both 3.5t . One of them is silver but quite a deep silver (if that makes any sense) with navy blue advertising on it and the other is hunter green with gold advertising . Both look very smart but there seems to be alot of 3.5t boxes that are silver and navy so the gold/green gets noticed more and is a bit more unusual.

Silver with coloured graphics, Blue with silver and black graphics, or black with silve graphics all work well...however, Silver is great cos it doesnt show muck and people will struggle to "dislike" it

The 3.5t box i used to own was sprayed in a Champagne colour with a red stripe down it. It was nice because it never really showed the muck up and always looked smart. Heres a pic of it:

My new 7.5t box is in Silver and blue and i think thats quite a nice combo as well.

I would go with silver 'tis the colour one horsebox dealer uses all the time, guess for the reason, as KatB said, it is pretty neutral and can be jazzed up with graphics. Why not get prices for several different graphic designs and then let the customer choose which one they want in the colour they want, makes it all a bit more personal.

Yours looks a similar colour to ours. Dependant on the light it varies from looking silver, silvery blue or sometimes has a mauve tinge. Ours is mercedes pearl blue.
