Green is always correct and looks smart. If you want to show seriously then stay well away from blue!!

I am not suggesting you spend anywhere near this amount (ebay is your friend!) but this is the idea

this ^^, green is always correct! You can get all sorts of colours in the overcheck (as bright, or not, as you like). If you aren't wanting to spend a fortune then the Shires Huntingdon ones are really lovely.

You can't go wrong with green as it goes with just about any colour horse. I have two tweeds, one is a dark green Alexander James which I wear with a navy hat which looks super on Farra who is a chestnut colour and for Stinky who is a dark bay skewbald, I have a dark brown tweed from Mrs Candy which I wear with a brown hat.

There are many tweeds out there, in all shades and with different colour overchecks. In the past, I have had some great bargains second hand and would personally buy a good quality second hand tweed than a cheap new one.

I have seen some people show a piebald in a grey hat with a green/grey tweed which looks very nice and is a bit different.
