What colour will she go/end up?

Well in a perfect, ideal world I would love her to go dappled but I dont think she will. I adore her as she is but just wondered will she stay this colour, change again? I know she may eventually in years, end up completely grey but until then....? She is 4. Any picture examples appreciated Thank you

I would expect her to gradually go whiter every year. Some take longer than others but yes i reckon she'll end up completely white although you never know lovely looking horse.

I had one almost identical - she went from that colour to almost "pink" (gorgeous) and then gradually lighter every year.

We had a 4yr old pony that colour. Her passport said bay roan. At 5 she was dark dapple, at 7 she was fairly light dapple, and by 8 quite light dapple -well on the way to grey.

I'd say she would go through dapple grey to gradually getting lighter and lighter until she ends up white, quite possibly flea bitten.

I have one that is pretty similar coloured. Her mother was completely white and I fully expect her to end up the same.

Are either of her parents grey as I believe it is dominant and strips out colour over time so if yes she will most likely end up white

she is lovely whatever colour she ends up

Mine greyed out fast. She only has one copy of the grey gene but she was pretty much white by the time she was two. However this year she has a few chestnut 'fleabites' coming through on her summer coat.

Her sire was born chestnut and is now a dark dapple grey. So it can be fun to see what you get with each coat change.

I often see 'roans' advertised when they are really greys. I think that sometimes people forget that greys are born a colour and then grey out.
