What colour would you say best suited a chestnut?

As title really, what colour would you say best suited a chestnut? (eg show rug/browband/headcollar etc) Finding it abit hard to decide on a colour for my mare, she is not an 'orangey' chestnut but not quite liver.

Opinions please and pics would be good too

I've always liked a darkish green on chesnuts

I always use navy on my ginger, but that's because I'm lazy and navy goes with everything.

I think green or blue goes nicely.

Nikiska, she has a white sock on one hind leg and a star that leads into a thin stripe, never thought of that

I use various shades of blue on my ginger bhoy

mines a similar colour to yours. He wears a purply wine colour, burgundy, red, navy, hunter green, lime green and cream/bronze.
he's not spoilt at all

My bright chestnut a Boy in all ways looked great in grey, and white.

Baby blue as well

sage green and brown

navy, cream and gold

my fave was defo the grey thou

My lad is chestnut with white stockings/face suits white and green. But also looks good in purple with gold.

Usually it is a matter of trial and error. I never put red on him.
