What colour?

I have a piebald mare and am going to show her. What colour tack should I use? Dont want to end up having black/brown tack all over the place would rather buy decent stuff now..

I always used black on my coloured.

Its down to personal preference. Some like black, and some brown.

Personally I prefer brown tack, no matter what colour the horse is. Looks smarter IMO and is usually softer and more supple because it doesn't have the dye in it which can make black tack stiff.

I like black tack, but for showing I think regardless of the horse colour most people have brown.

Brown is correct for showing. I have a piebald and use havannah coloured tack. It gives a lovely, soft contrast to the horse and can make the blck bits look blacker!

Dark havanna regardless of colour of horse. Just think it looks much smarter & it is also much more supple.

Well, I know nothing at all about showing

and it's going to stay that way....but I thought I'd point out that if you are going with brown tack, try to buy saddle/leathers/bridle/martingale or whatever at the same time from the same manufacturer, as nothing looks worse than different shades of brown.

Piebald I'd go for brown, its a nice contrast and will very smart.

For showing it has to be brown.
You can always go for a very dark brown if you prefer.
