What cool (as in heat) things do you wear on your feet to muck out?

As always a summer predicament, how to keep your feet cool whilst mucking out without damaging your leather boots? Urine in the stable is supposed to deteriorate leather quicker than just normal wear I wouldnt mind but I wear Ariats so do not want to replace them too often. Wellies are just too hot! So what do you actually muck out in that keep your feet slightly cooler than wellies? Thank god my feet dont smell or my house mate wouldnt be too happy Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

I have a pair of black plimsols from primark they were only £3 so I don't care if they get trashed. Possibly not very attractive or health and safety correct but they do the job

Crocs and no socks.

Not the coolest, but I wear Ariat Terrain H2O boots, which are really comfy and when I get done with the barn stuff I change into something cooler.
