A friend of mine has an elderly pony and the pony had a really bad accident about a year ago. The pony bolted and triped over a cattle grid and made a sevre mess of her knees. She now has bad arthritus in both her knees. Is there anything she can put on her knees to try and keep them warm and away from the cold so she doesnt suffer too bad this winter?

The nice padded hock boots people use for travelling??
If you put them on back to front, the hock part would go over her knees and keep them snuggly and warm.
I would also get some arnica and ruta 200 from a homeopath the help with the arthiritis

I had a horse with this problem and Westropp do a neoprene brushing boot with built in Knee pads- they worked far better than knee or hock boots which were forever slipping down...
