Hello

Can anyone put some light to this........

my horse all of a sudden wont let me pick up he right hind leg up to pick her hoof out, she seemed a bit lame on it the other day, but I car,nt get her to pick that foot up either to pick it out of have a look, I have to wait until she is resting on that foot to do anything........

I car,nt see any swelling or feel any heat on the leg so I,m a bit frustrated and confused now and need some advice.

she just snatches it back of you when you try and pick it up then side steps if you try and pick it up again. its been a few days now and not getting anywhere

can anyone help please x

It's possible that she won't pick that leg up because her OTHER hind foot is sore and picking that foot up puts more weight on the sore one. Check the other foot out for heat etc. just in case.
