Am over the moon, since October 2010 I have taken full loan of a British Warmblood bred. The owners are lovely and regularly come to see him. Two day ago we got a letter saying that after a long chat with their whole family and as we love and care for their horse so well we could have him for 'a mere token of £5' Luckily I was sitting down.
Of course we will have him and I look forward to seeing our name in his passport, But, it makes you wonder: what can you buy for £5 these days!
PLUS: it's definitely not what you know, but who you know.

Congratulations ! wow good price !! lol ...just make sure you get a full written evidence that you have actually purchased the horse as these things can get a bit misunderstood later down the line ...........but lucky you well done !

Now that's what i call a bargain!! The family obviously think you've earned him and my god isn't it refreshing to find people who actually value their horses future above making money for them! Good luck to you both. :)

P.s Don't forget to insure him for a bit more than the purchase price :D

awwww congratulations, but had to be the stealer of thunder, but we paid £1 for our TBx :D and used the other £4 for a bottle of wine x

I bought a horse for a £1 last week, not a WB I agree but still a very nice 4yrs Sec D boy :D

i also bought my horse for a £1, he's my dream horse! Amazing that there are people out there that really do care about the horse, not the price! Good luck with YOUR boy :P
