I am looking for someone to do my horses but have no idea what the going rate is as I did a friends horses in return for her doing mine for the last few years.

It's basically when I go away it's normally only for a few days so it's feed, turnout and skip/muck out then back in the evening to bring in or put out depending on the time of year, I normally make enough feeds up they just have to add the beet and I can normally make most of the haynets in advance and it's just changing rugs when needed.

I charge £10 an hour but also have a minimum charge of £10 a visit as otherwise the petrol isn't worth it. Whereabouts in Herts are you as quite of few of us charge the same around here?

I paid a minimum charge of £10/hour last time I needed someone in North Oxon; Spring 2015 ... so £20 per day to look after one horse when I was on holiday.
