Personally I would go and have a look for myself.

If you turn up and she is there and uninjured, then demand your deposite back or take the horse when you pay the balance.

Is it a dealers yard or private?

Why would they now not want you to have her

it all seems so strange, first i had a call saying she has hurt her leg and the vet was on the way, i sent him a message a couple of hours later and the vet hadnt been?? i thought she had a serious injury, but the vet wasnt in a hurry????ten mins later i had a call from my transporter saying he tried to arange to collect the mare and she was strapped up on box rest and couldnt be moved, i was confused then as i was told vet hadnt been, when i rang his partner said she was there when it happened and it was bad. i asked to speak to the vet and got a brick wall. i have now decided to ask for my deposit back, but again i have had no responce to that now either!!!!!

Does sound a little odd.

Maybe now would be a good time to give them a buzz for an update and a decision on your part on what to do.
