Gahhh

As some of you may know i am looking for another horse to share (probably Jess) as the owner of the horse I share now wanted her back fulltime as she had her baby etc.

Now i had a chat to Maggie's owner yesterday as I was concerned that she would not be ridden enough when I stop riding her. Maggie is 16 now and really needs to be worked everyday to stop her stiffening up.

Maggie's owner has now come back to me asking me to continue sharing her and that she has made a mistake.

I honestly do not know what to do! I love Maggie, she is sound, safe and honest. But I almost feel I am ready for another challenge and do not want to continue paying £180 a month to ride her three times a week. But on the other hand i would be losing out not being able to ride her as she is so honest etc etc and facilites are brilliant.

I wish she had made her mind up properly before and thought through all the facts and then i wouldn't have found Jess. I hate letting people down and I know she does really need help with Maggie....

So do I

a)cut my losses with Maggie, go for Jess (unlimited riding £60 month)

b) Help with Maggie once or twice a week and ask to pay £90 month and take on Jess

c) continue with Maggie and cut my losses with Jess

d)go abroad and hide!

Thanks everyone... i'm just struggling with all the decisions at the mo. I want help everyone, but my time and money only stretches so far.

Option B. Be selfish - get the most riding you can for the least amount of money. You can ride Maggie on Jess's days off and ride 7 days a week.
