i am looking into becoming a BHS instructor and would like to know info about how you go about it and what qualifications i would need before i do it? i know i will have to do some BHS exams but which ones?
i have emailed the BHS but had no response from them yet and i really am seriously thinking about doing it. and would like to get the ball rolling asap.
any help or info appreciated xx

You will probably find a localish riding school that offers training towards the exams. I would highly recommend taking some training beforehand if you aren't familiar with the BHS, they are quite particular about the way things are done, and the exams are quite expensive. Make sure you do your homework before jumping in and taking the exams. But make sure the riding school is BHS approved and that your instructor is qualified, they're more likely to know the system.

Invest in Pony Club manual for starters, this is good grounding for stage 1. You can probably get it off amazon pretty cheap?

The BHS do a lot of other good books for revision for stages.

Good luck!
