Im getting a horse in two years which gives me plenty of time to get everything.. But what do I actually need?! I know about all the tack, rugs, grooming kits, first aid etc. but there's bound to be something I've missed! So please can you tell me pretty much anything and everything I need, along with average prices if possible.
Thankyou!

The prices re going to have changed a lot in 2 years - plus more things will have been invented or changed. Both the Pony Club and the BHS do a very good guide on buying your first horse - it would be worth having a look at that a bit closer the time. As a rule of thumb - take whatever you thought your budget was going to be and double it!

Have you considered doing some of the BHS exams? Stage 1 and/or the Horse Owner's certificate would stand you in good stead for caring for your new horse and give you an idea of what you will need.

A horse-care manual will be useful reading too - this one was my favourite reading as a kid! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Complete-Horse-Manual-Colin-Vogel/dp/1405362774

Will you be keeping the horse at a livery yard with other people? If so, once you have him/her they will be able to help you with things you might have missed. I'd advise against getting much extra stuff until you have the horse - you'll need feed, buckets, tack etc. ready to go, but don't go mad with accessories until the need arises. It sounds like you know you'll need appropriate tack, cleaning/grooming supplies , that's the basics I'd start with :)

From personal experience (and several shoutings at by instructors) I feel that there are several factors to consider here which would change costs over the next 2 years. How old is the horse? What would you like to do with the horse? Will it be stable or grass livery?

You seem to have an idea of what you need but the basics are essentially a feed bucket, water bucket, grooming kit (even if it is just a dandy brush and hoof pick), a couple of rugs (turnout and stable) and some tack but how much you spend on tack depends on the age and/or condition of the horse as younger or fatter horses tend to have a tendency to change shape and the saddle no longer fits, however, some saddles are adjustable so should be ok!
