What do peope use to clean dogs ears?

One of the Grots needs an ear clean.

If over the counter or a saline solution will do the job then happy days. If that's not the done thing these days then off to the vet we'll go.

Any suggestions folks?

SD posted a useful product summary in a recent thread, with the caveat that this is for maintenance cleaning only and assuming no current infection.

I use Otoact on the large dog, for wax cleaning.

I’m just finishing up some epiotic I found in the back of the cupboard. Usually these days it’s otodine as that’s what my vet recommends.

We use leucillin for the spaniel's ears. It's great for all sorts of stuff (including thrushy hooves) and certainly won't do any harm.
