Usually We rent two smallish paddocks for our two large greedy horses, they usually flit between the two fields throughout the year as and when the grass runs out ect. But now we have lost use of the neighbours paddock so are down to just the one paddock.
How do people manage their small paddocks which the horses have to live in all year round? I have electric fencing but not sure if I should fence in half or make three paddocks etc. Ideas please?!

Probably the most efficient way is to use a track system. Fence a track around the outside which is used the majority of the time & just use the middle as & when needed.

We split the one we use for horses top and bottom, ours is around 5-6 acres. We rest either side, chain harrow, roll etc it works for my big fatty and my two companion ponies.

An idea is to concrete posts into the base of those blue water containers and use that to make your electric fence posts, they can then be moved around to create the paddock size you want without having to knock in posts etc, just an idea.

Um maybe two acres. Def no more than that. The stables were no good so had to pull them down so stabling not an option. I do have a sand school though which I can put them in a few hours a day to give them a break from mud :-/
