What do you all think about treeless saddles? pros and cons...

As the title suggests how do you all feel about treeless saddles and bitless bridles while we're there :)

I have never tried to ride in a treeless saddle, and only tried to ride in a hackamore twice, but I have ridden in a dually many times for hacking and schooling and the first time was quite amazing, my horse was lovely and forwards going, he really did go nicely.

I have also jumped him in it down a grid, although never completed a course of jumps in one, so not sure if I would have brakes or my steering would be sufficient! I didn't have any steering with teh hackamore by the way!

I have recently bought a Torsion one off preloved and love it :) It's SO lightweight to carry around and really really comfy to ride in. My mare is a sensitive soul and goes really nice in it. Handy too because it moulds to the shape of the horse so I can ride my gelding in it too. Means I don't have to keep trekking to the tack room and back :D
