Just back from viewing a 3 day old colt, with the possibility of buying him at weaning. I know its hard to know how they will turn out, but wanted to show you him anyway and get some opinions. His mam is a roomy 15.2hh coloured mare, probably part clyde and his dad is a traditional piebald 15.2hh stallion. I'm going to see the stallion later this week. They are all just down the road from me.

Got no name yet, but here is ickle foaly.......................

I know the last one shows his legs a bit wobbly, but he walked away quite straight. Think it was just the way I caught him on camera, plus it takes a few days to straighten up! What do you all think? I'm wanting something that is a weight carrier and approx 15.2hh. x

Super cute, he looks the double of his mum!

I think 15.2hh would be a safe guess judging by his parents, if they are both substantial then id presume he would be too ( Im a noob when it comes to breeding, just making presumtions, im sure someone who knows what they are talkign about will be along soon!)

I really like him he has a lovely calm expression.
I know it is really to early to predict but just from that I would say he will be genuine, calm and trainable.

I think he'll be perfect from what you've said about his mum and dad and seeing those photos. Love his markings.

Oh he is just the cutest thing ever, I think you should definitely get him (and then send him to me, lol). I think he looks like a Bodie (my coloured is Bodey)??? :D

white legs = lots of washing
white nose= lots of suncream ;)

these are of course the most important considerations :D

Thanks everyone, we're going to view the stallion tonight hopefully! Just want to be absolutely sure he is as big as I think he is!

Ester - I already have to do the suncream regime with Kinzzy - she's pink on her nose! Time consuming but worth it! time will tell I suppose, but he is cute! x
