what do you do with your dog poop?

We tried one of the green doggy loos, followed all the instructions but it filled up and was disgusting. The poo did not seem to break down as promised. We ended up having a revolting day digging it up, bagging it 1000 times and taking it to the tip.

I can't describe vividly enough how horrid that was.

Now we put the dog poo with the horse poo, as Jay lives at home. It is mixed in with the Rape Straw and any discarded hay. It is disposed of by a farmer.

Ack,we had one of those at home *pukes*. I ended up digging the ruddy hole (child labour!) and then for all that, it was vile!

Spud rarely goes at home, when he dos we bag and bin it. On walks, I either bag it, or stick and flick it, depending where we are.

Glad it isn't just me who failed with one of those green buried bin things - I thought I'd got it wrong! I had one years ago, I only had 2 whippets at the time so not much poo but it was absolutely rubbish.

Now I stick and flick when I walk in the forest, or bag comprehensively at home.

I take the opportunity to rake the moss out of my lawn with a little rake, include the poo, in a bag and in the landfill bin. And I have three who use my lawn as a toilet.

There is never much if they aren't allowed on the grass at home. It's bagged and binned at home unless it's on the patio when I can pick it up and shove it in the downstairs loo right by the back door. Woods, stick and flick, as the council request and field/park, bag and bin.

Luckily our dog doesn't poop or wee in the garden but we always pick up and bin when out and about.
Even when in the woods we pick it up and carry to the nearest bin, if no bin then double bag and in the boot of the car until we get home.
Never "stick & flick"!!
Pet peeve is seeing bagged poop flung in bushes, trees or left on the path.
