Ive had a clearout and found that over the last couple of years I have built up a fine collection of horsey mags and dog mags as well. So you can imagine I have hundreds of them, hate to think how much they have cost me!!!!

Im going to advertise them on freecycle but does anyone have any other ideas?

You get rid of old magazines

I file them under my bed

occasionly chuck some in recycling, or offload them onto friends

Mine are under the bed, hubby goes nuts.
He can't understand that i may need info from 1 of them some time in the future. How i would know which one the required info is in, i have no clue lol. must have a clearout.

If anyone wants the last 10 years of Your Horse mag, they're in a boxes and folders at mine LOL! I thought about putting them on ebay not really to make any money but I thought someone may want them - otherwise it's off the dump with them!

Lol! I recently moved house and had to box my "collection" for the removals men to take to my new house. I was shocked to see how many magazines I had hoarded under my bed!
Don't know what to do with them now....hate throwing them away!

I recently sorted out Your Horse mags going back to 1992! Also Horse & Rider and some issues of Horse. I have all 19 issues of the short lived Gallop magazine and I'm so sad I can't bear to get rid of them. I occasionally look back on the really old ones just to see how much has changed. Given that they cost over £3 now it seems wrong to just throw away.

I remember Gallop magazine and I still have a t-shirt that was given away as a freebie! How many years is it since it disappeared?

I sort through them once a year, and keep any interesting articles from Horse, Your Horse and H&H. I keep Horse and Rider though as i like the magazine in general.
