How do you cope if you go alone to a show when you have a pain of a horse that will not stand around?
One of mine is a right pain in the arse, he will not stay on the lorry, as soon as the engine stops he wants off he has already reared and pulled off a tie ring. He will stand tied up by the lorry but is a real fidget so dare not leave him alone. Hubby usually is around to help because of the problem but otherwise i have to drag the horse to the entry secretary.

Any ideas? thanks

D used to be like this but has gradually got better the more she goes out. She will not stand on the lorry but is okay tied to the side with a haynet. I make sure I try and park in a quiet space so there aren't lots of people driving past or anything exciting to look at. If I have to leave D for a few minutes to pop to the loo or go and enter I find there is always someone that will keep an eye for you. I was worried the first time I tried but really couldn't fit D in the portaloo with me and got straight back to find her munching away happily on the haynet.

I have had him 8 years and he has always been the same, i suppose i have just got used to it but yesterday he really p...d me off because i just wanted to pop to the loo and he was sooo fidgety. Bloody horses
