As title, ours has gained a nice belly over summer (was skinny before comming to us), but is still developing and has a fair bit of filling out to do.
Will be starting feeding again soon, still on lots of grass at the moment.
Curious to know what you feed your babies?

My 3yo gets ad-lib grass and hay

All summer (and at the moment) he gets;

1 x sugarbeet (soaked)
2 x Stud nuts
1 cup lindseed meal
1 x Soya flakes
1 cup equijewel

Once a day. Soon he will go onto twice a day, although will only get equijewel and linseed once a day. He is a colt/stallion though, has been showing over the summer and currently being prepped for grading, so is being fed quite well.

Ours came to us early summer, over summer he's had handfull of fibrenuts and half scoop of chaff and mug of blue chip everyday as our grass hasn't been great this year. He started noticably dropping off about 3 weeks ago so have now swapped the fibrenuts for calm and condition, and upped the amount of chaff. The blue chip has definately improved the quality of his coat etc.
Once he comes in for winter he'll have ad lib haylage at night. He's still growing quite a bit so getting quite a bit of feed (grass is rubbish this year!)

Mine will be out unrugged 24/7 over winter although they do have access to a very large barn when they want and 20 acres between six of them.

They will get about 1/2 slice each of large bale haylage and Alfa-A, Speedibeet, codliver oil, Equivite and high fibre nuts once a day.
