What do you feed your Dartmoors?

I have just taken on a little Dartmoor on loan for my daughter from a friend. She's doesn't really need anything weight wise but need something to take her supplements and want to make sure she's getting the vitamins and minerals that she needs.

What do you all feed yours?

A cup of speedibeet - wet - was all my dartie's got with their powdered balancer.
Probably only an egg cup dry weight!

The Dartmoor hill pony gets an approx 50g scoop of dry grass nuts per day - soaked and split into 2 teeny tiny feeds with some dried herbs and powdered vits and mins. He is very excited about having a bucket though bless him even though there's not much in it. Pony is just under 12.2 and finely built.

Just grass at the moment as he had lami about 13 years ago so he only gets add ons in winter.

I was thinking about this balancer as I use it for my own horse. How much do you feed?

afraid my hill ponies don't get anything just grass and that is restricted ATM. .

The RDA group has a Dartmoor, we are always looking at ways to restrict her eating, rather than wondering what to give her.

My boy gets a very small handful of Honeychop Lite and healthy, Naf general supplement and Turmeric with black pepper

My Dartmoor gets Dengie molasses free & a small amount of sugar beet for supplements. The Dengie is quite strong smelling & seems to disguise supplements quite well.

I was thinking about this balancer as I use it for my own horse. How much do you feed?

She gets 200g with a small amount of chaff

What Vits and mins do you all use?

Mine has Forageplus powder because the other pony has it and it's easy to keep both on the same as it appears to suit them both
