What do you feed your puppy?

Frank is a 12 week old lab puppy. He is on country choice puppy buscuits and nature diet... Need to change the biscuit side and wondered what others could recommend?

Urgh I mean biscuits... Not buscuits... Blame the phone!

My two are now 6 months old - one has the wainwrights trays and the other has wainwrights biscuits. It's mind boggling when I go into the pet shop, so many different types of food it makes my head spin! Bit like the horse feed shops in that respect. They both seem to do well on it, shiny coats and bags of energy. They were on science plan when we got them but the little un just kept turning his nose up at it after a while. He seems to prefer meaty food rather than biscuits.

How long did you take to swap diets? Did you have to change over a matter of weeks?

I think I did it over a week, gradually reducing the old and topping it up with the new. They didn't have any problems with it.

I feed my puppy a raw and bone diet, and transferred over a few days.

Mine is on a raw diet too.

She came with several different types of dry complete she had been having with her breeder but turned her nose up at them all with me, especially when she saw the others eating meat and bone.

I swopped her straight over on the grounds you aren't suppossed to mix kibble and raw and she has been fine.

Fish4puppies and the occasional raw chicken wing (not at the same time!)

Skinners field and trial puppy and raw chicken wings (also not at the same time!)

My pup has been on raw since 10 weeks old, I swapped straight over and haven't looked back!

Wheever I have a rescue pup in I grab a bag of fish4puppies or arden grange puppy food.
