I'm doing some research and would like to know exactly when buying a horsebox - WHAT IS YOUR MAIN PRIORITY?
What do you look for in a horsebox ???

Vehicle first and foremost. No point having a fancy horse area if its going to break down or burst into flames.
Horse area next, anything else a bonus.

Other key things:
1. Unladen Weight
2. Make of Chassis - personally, Leyland Daf all the way
3. Access to engine for maintenance - inspection hatch in cab or tilt cab
4. Cut through cab to living - so I can chat to the horses with the door open to the horse area
5. And would never have a hydraulic ramp incase of power failure / emergency, so well balanced easy to lift ramp.
And if you were Katie Price it would have to be wall to wall pink !!! Ours is boringly safe silver!!!

Reliability and a low unladen weight. No point in being unable to carry what you want or to get where you want. Everything else is an add on.
