I like him.

Id say he's unsettled because she's quite fidgety with her hands. He seems to be taking a contact and she's moving her hands about.

Apart from the fact he looks more bay to me than liver chestnut, I have to be honest he doesn't do much for me, and there was one bit of the video where he looked a bit short right hind?

Is she nagging him with her leg in trot, or is it her leg action?

Nagging him big time with every rise/sit , (i should know it's one of my worst faults - drives my instructor potty and really does the horse no favours either!) other than that i think he's lovely and the busy head could just be baby inbalance, loads of potential anyway.:)

Yes. He doesn't track up well and def looked a bit short on the r hind. Rider not actively riding him forward, niggling like that just annoys A horse. Personally I think he's overpriced.

to me she looks rigid got no give and take in her hands his head is bobbing up and down and her hands are not moving she looks like she is as stiff as a telegraph pole

looking at it again in large screen ,she is sawing his mouth he is not happy in his mouth opening it and showing resistance

he is over bent sometimes too

small world! I went to try him in Spetember! He's not for me but hopefully he will find a lovely new home.

Really! What was he like to ride? (pm me if you'd prefer)

I don't like the way she rides either to be fair, she is a niggly nagger and I can see her hands doing a bit of seeeeeesawwww in a sneaky way.

I don't think he's short though, that white sock makes it look as if it is IMO, also he does fall in at the back end on occasion, but again, IMO that's lack of balance.

I also think that he's overpriced, majorly, and I wouldn't go and look at him due to that. He's the sort I will be looking for when the big lad says it's nearly time to retire.

I think his Donnerhall breeding will have upped his price a bit but they have done it too much imo. We had a D'hall dressage stallion at the yard for a while, only 3, but loose schooling it my god that horse had one hell of a movement! Nice looking little horse but I think this market wont call for someone to be paying that especially as started late so little track record...

I thought the same, starting him late for whatever reason, kind of counteracts upping his price for his breeding. Not saying his breeding wouldn't put his price up compared to something else, obviously it does, and he does show a natural talent in his movement, considering he's pretty much un-produced from the seems of things. I'd have put him at about £5000-£5500.

Nice, but why so unsettled in the head?

Because the horse is seeking a contact - but not being offered any. Generally being horribly ridden. Why can't people put their stirrups at an appropriate level:confused:

Anyway what a lovely, lovely horse OP. If he's within your budget, I would definitely go and see him. I think he's stunning.

As you asked about the horse:-

I think he looks nice, very pretty and nicely put together, like the advert says, the basics are there and you have to remember the horse is only 5.

I think he is lovely, I don't think he is short just a bit unbalanced and not through at times.
However I do think he is massively overpriced! Wow lord knows what that makes mine worth then ;).
He looks about 4k to me, I don't think the basics have been well established at all, he should be able to at least work connected albeit in a longer outline and for short periods. Does he have any BD winnings or placings?
He's very nice but overpriced and he looks average with the way he is being worked hence for me 4k tops.
