what do you love/hate most about your horse?

Just thinking today - what i love most about mine is the way she'll always come up to me in the field and want to come with me. What i hate most about her is that she dislikes being groomed and tacked up. (before you ask - her tack fits and her back is checked regularly!). What does everyone else love and hate about their horse?

What I most love is that he is a real character/personality. Plenty of intelligence about him. And he is very bold with an excellent attitude to work. What I most dislike about him is when he gets aggressive in the stable (which incidentally he has always done).

Me and my horse have a love/hate relationship!
I really hate it when he knows exactly when to do his worst! When I am feeling low or running late or the farrier is coming then he decides to be the biggest beast to catch! If I am wanting to have a quiet ride he is naughty and will throw me off when I feel down about something, grrr he is a little bugger it is unbelivable but i love him for it.

What I love most about Beau is he is so affectionate, he will happily groom you all day if you let him. He is also very very protective of me.

I dont hate anything about him, the only thing that does annoy me is his blooming fussiness with his bit, but working on that!

With Lance, what I love most about him is his cheeky personality, he hasnt got a bad bone in his body but has a very dry sense of humour!

I dont hate anything about him, but I wish he wouldnt embarass me by taking off broncing with every novice I put on his back, saying how safe he is!

What I really love about my mare, is that when she see's me she makes these noise's though her nostrils (like a cat purring) and I hate nothing about her as I take the rough with the smooth, as she looks after me when out on a hack alone.

When I can't catch her
When she does her stupid little rears

LOVE - his big tarty personality, ability to cheer me up when feeling down, to love me when i need it and to bring me down to earth when I need to, the way he trusts me, tests me and that he is so trustworthy

love to HATE - door banging in the stable around breaky time, his love of grass when I am trying to show him off to someone, his total ability to make me feel 2" tall sometimes !!! but with a what did I do look !!!

What I love abt my mare is her stunning beauty, her character and personality, her smell and how she trusts me. What I hate? mmm thinking hard..........the way she showjumps atm, but we're working on it!!

I love my horse for looking after me when we jump. He knows I'm not brave and tries his socks off for me.
I hate the fact that he behaves like a pratt on fun rides - last one I went on he got an ASBO!

I love EVERYTHING about my horse, his personality, the way he treats me differently to every other person, the empathy we share with eachother.
The ONLY thing i dislike about my horse, is his health problems. Take them away and hes perfect. Even when he misbehaves I love it, as i know he'd never do anything dangerous.

I love my horse because he's always pleased to see me and is very level headed and confident.

The only thing I don't like is the way he stamps his back legs about sometimes for no reason.

My horse is the most geniune animal you could ever wish to meet, tries everything you ask, the only thing i wish is that he had more ability! My friends horse is the complete opposite, if we could add them together wed have the perfect animal! Ability and honesty!

I love how bombproof she is...how she'll always look after me..and how she tries soo hard!
however i hate when she doesnt do whati ask her to when she knows what to do...also her extreme weighty issues!

but i wouldnt change her for the world!

Both mine are a bit silly because I cant have one without the other!

One of mine can be bolshy and totally full of himself. He thinks he's God. Obviously this can cause quite a few arguements...... but at the same time his personality is so amusing and vast that I also love that about him too!

One of my others, I love that he's so honest and he couldn't be MORE polite! He doesn't even know HOW to misbehave. But at the same time I wish he wouldnt be quite so woosy. I mean he refuses to walk through a gate beside me (unless I make him), he always grinds to a halt to allow me to walk first and sometimes I feel he's just TOO quiet. He doesn't show much emotion when compared to the ned above!

love frankie because he whinnies when he sees me now, and even when he hears my voice - and my car! *even if it is cupboard love!*

hate it that he doesnt actually belong to me, and he can get tense when being ridden. oh and he is a baby, spooks at most things and hates the hosepipe!
