I am in love with amerigo leather balsam (and their tack cleaners pretty good stuff too just the application bottle isn't brilliant). I have tried various balms, lincoln stuff is also decent (second best to amerigo that Ive tried) but so far the amerigo is the best Ive used :). It smells delightful, makes the leather feel soft and supple and has a nice shine I also use it on my boots :).

Good old neatsfoot, hasn't fallen apart yet ;)

Hi J, how is the weather there, have you been snowed on yet?

I started using horsemans one step about 8 years ago, and just about only ever use that now. The directions are to use it without wiping over the tack with water, as it will remove the grease - I don't do that (I do wipe everything over with warm water first), but it leaves the tack really supple, but without any of the nasty greasiness you get from oil. It's done a fab job of restoring some naff leather that I had the (dis)pleasure of having in my tack room for a while, and it's just lovely stuff :)
