Just interested really, to see if our local is well priced. So for those of you who have rugs washed professionally, tell me prices and if it includes reproofing, full necks and rough area pretty please?

£7 wash, £12 wash and reproof. £7 for a full load of head collars/saddlecloths. All items r collected from our yard and returned.

My 15 year old 5ft 9ins Rambo HW turnout no neck just came back from wash/reproof and minor repairs inc one belly strap replaced. £45. This is in Surrey. It is as good as new but :o

I'm might well buy cheap rugs from now on and not bother with reproofing, particuarly as the new Horseware rugs are not as good as they were.

Our local feed shop does a deal of 3 x turnout rugs for £25, this is wash only and does not include re-proofing. I'm not sure if this includes the combo neck rugs as mine don't have them.

Naughty I know but I take mine to the laundrette and use the big machines for big turnouts and heavyweights, use the small machines for coolers, fleeces etc. and saddle cloths, bandages. I do clean it out behind me though and make sure the rugs aren't THAT bad. I do it quite often though to avoid them getting super dirty.

Won't comment on price as not in the UK.
