My horse has a splint bone that interferes with suspensory ligament.
Last week he came in from field lame and next day he had swelling from knee-fetlock and so i have put him on box rest. His swelling has gone right down but apart from the usual splint area on the inside of near fore there is a line running downwards from below knee to mid/lower cannon- could it be a vein? or tendon/ligament? any thoughts??
