So let them know what you think and in case you haven’t had the chance to check out the site yet, you can find out more about the range at http://www.tensupplements.co.uk

I've had a horse on their Muscle and their Energy Boost for the last 6 weeks, last weekend for the first time ever we finished Xc 10 seconds under the time. He is looking fantastic, has energy but that hasn't heated him up, I wish I could find some for me!
I've had another horse on their keep calm stuff and found that half the dose they recommend does the trick. The supplements aren't cheap but they certainly work for my horses. Slightly frustrating I can't go into a saddlery and buy it, especially if you run out. Having said that their postal service is very efficient and the last deliveries have been on time.

My 6 year old horse was part of the Trials for Energy Boost, had brilliant results for the three months of the trial during the competition season with improved concentration, she was interested at competitions instead of just giving me the impression that she was bored, when hacking out we weren't miles behind everyone else but without any fizz, I couldn't wait for it to be available commercially. When it came out I ordered my first tub, it was a bit more expensive that I would have liked, but was happy to pay as I knew the benefits were worth it. The only thing that I would say is that when I was lambing and she wasn't in work I had continued to feed the supplement and had a few interesting, exciting rides when she came back into work so I took her off it for about two weeks until she was back in work properly, then put her back on it and haven't looked back since and next year whilst she's off work during lambing I won't feed it. Well worth the money and although you can only order on line, it is shipped quickly and they offer a loyalty scheme.

I've used Spillers feeds for a number of years and to be honest I'm very disappointed with the range. I've not looked at buying everything but below are what I have considered.
Calmer - magnesium based - same old same old! No different to the 100's of mag calmers out there!
Electrolytes - Full of sugar and lacking in electrolytes! The myth of needing sugar to help absorb electrolytes was dispelled years ago.
Joints - more like it, looks ok but levels are a bit low.

So all in all, I've not purchased any as there's nothing there that is any different to 90% of supplements out there.

Thank you for the feedback so far! Please do keep it coming!

It is great to hear success stories like those from Nicodemus and TirionWirion. It is also useful to hear feedback like that from dm2013 so thank you. I would like to make the following points to reassure you all about our range.

Our joint supplements have some of the best levels of the key iconic joint ingredients on the market.

Our electrolytes are a recovery formulation designed to help replenish electrolytes and glycogen stores after exercise, the sugar is not there to help them absorb the electrolytes.

I hope this is useful information and like I say please keep the feedback coming!

Hi Stacie21

Thanks for your interest in Energy Boost.

At the moment we have decided not to produce sample packs for a few reasons; firstly if the sample is required for palatability then you'd need at least a week's worth so you could introduce it gradually and really give him a chance, some horses can be very fussy and take a while to get used to any new taste! If you wanted a sample to see if it works with your horse then again you might need a larger amount as all horses are individuals and some can take a few weeks before you notice a difference. Therefore we feel it is best if you try a whole tub (1 month supply for a horse or 2 months' supply for a pony) to decide if the supplement works for your horse or not. We have had great responses and trial results on the Energy Boost, take a look at the reviews posted on our website for more feedback.

We currently have a voucher code on the Horse & Hound website entitling you to 10% off, so if you are interested enough to purchase a tub use HHTEN at the checkout.

Kind Regards

I put my mare on challenged skin and coat after a bad winter of mud fever, followed by a severe buttercup reaction. I can now say her skin is almost healed after 6 weeks. I am very impressed!

Joint supplement is good and has certainly kept our cob on the road. Sensible price but would like bigger tubs to save repeated ordering. Like the loyalty points. Am trialling mare supplement at mo-so far so good.
