what do you think of these?

I have them on my watch list on ebay...but I just get a very uneasy feeling about them. If I was rich I'd buy one just to see for myself :P But sadly, not rich!
 
I used something similar for backing my boy, I didn't want to get a treed saddle until he stopped growing, mine looked similar but didn't have a tree (actually I thought it looked a bit like a giant cockroach). I liked it, It did the job and when he was all grown up with a 'proper' saddle I binned it
 
I'd be worried about
- an un-fitted tree (perhaps worse than no tree if you don't get saddler to verify?)
- stirrups (surely likely to create pressure points/areas is saddle soft?)
- getting too comfy (if saddle is comfy for rider might make them less aware of horse comfort than bareback)

Having said that it is hardly a huge financial risk if you get a saddler to check once it arrives and I (totally unqualified) don't see a reason it *couldn't* work well for some combinations
(possibly stirrupless...).

Be really interested to hear what you think if you buy one!
