I am after a safe horse to hack out with my daughter on her pony.
I have spoken to the owners and they sound honest, he's been out of proper work recently due to a new younger horse but has been kept ticking over.
Is about 43 miles from me according to googlemaps- My OH nearly had a fit when i asked if he could collect so i'm taking that as a no and trying to find out about possible transport- How much roughly do you think i'm looking at for this?

Its on www.thehorseexchange.com and is advert no 105854- cant do links sorry!

attempt at one in case! http://www.thehorseexchange.com/?Horse/Details/forAd/105854

At 16 its slightly older than i had in mind but then someone pointed out my old pony was 16 when i bought him and i had him another 18 years! also will have my own field big enough for an field ornament! when he's too old!!

As above...he sounds like he will be fine for what you want but no CC as no pics. However 45miles isnt too far IMO so head over to see him espec if owners sound nice. You can only go and try just make sure you try him on the roads booth in company and alone.
No idea for transport i think around me to hire a small box for day with driver is about £90, doesnt matter the distance.

Sounds a nice sort.:) My only concern would be the size difference between him and your daughters pony. If you will be mainly hacking lil' pony might have a job to keep up with you!:D

Haha Blazing Saddles- My concern is the other way round! Daughters pony is 14.3 and really strides out!- everything at the yard has a job to keep up when i ride him out! I need something calm tho to keep him settled.
The lady i spoke to was the Y/O where he is kept, She is also his main rider. I asked about the allergy and she was unaware of any allergy and said she thought a mistake but would speak to the owner who placed the ad when she finished work.
