I have phoned up about a few and none have been as described (as is the way of horse buying!). I am not looking intently yet, just browsing, as we are not desperate to buy anything and have until the end of the year to find the right horse

Anyway I just found this horse, which ticks all my boxes, although the breeding is a bit of a mixed bag! I would pref like to event up to intro/maybe PN in a couple of years (not a money making project btw, just something to "do" along side my already established horse).
What do we think?

I then saw the link to the grey/roan mare in Worcestershire on the side >>> a bit too expensive really, but it looks nice

Shes a nice horse but tbh (and am sorry if this annoyus you) but for 2k you could get something with a better jump and little more potential. But thats just my opinion,
 
I think she is really nice and good value for 2k - however I would be less convinced about her going to PN but she is only a baby and you will only know if you can get a 'feel' for her.
 
I know, I saw your post with your horse for sale and he does sound ideal!

There are a couple of horses I have seen for sale in Glamorgan so maybe I could make a daytrip out of it

looks a nice enough horse, for £2K I agree soemthing with a bit better jump MAY be available, however it has a relatively good shape over the jump so maybe practice and teamwork will improve her ability etc....

Very nice! I'd much rather a wee baby is just popped over little things and makes an effort to bascule, as this one is, rather than hollowing & sticking their head up over bigger things which is normally what baby horses look like in photos.

I think she looks lovely and good for the price. I will be looking arouind the same price bracket in september and haven't seen much for under 3k that isn't an ex racer.
