What do you think of this WB gelding...

He is beautiful and flashy and that is prob why he has ended up where he is

I would be wary that there are no ridden pics, and not go to see him unless you truely are the experienced rider they are looking for - the advert screams GREEN AS GRASS to me!
 
Yes nice looking horse but I would be wondering what is wrong at the price quoted....seems very cheap....and the ad does seem to point very much towards a problem somewhere along the line with riding/handling?
 
It can obviously jump and they are probably too scared to do it, but to be fair there aren't many people around who would be happy jumping that height.

He's cheap because he's 11, a bit big for the average person and they want to get rid off him.

If you go with your eyes open and aknowledge the fact that if you are at all novicey or nervous he'll probably take advantage of you you'll be alright.

BTW Mel85 knows of a nice gelding for sale in wiltshire
 
Why has he got a full clip if he has only been used as a hack for the last two years? He also looks very fit and pretty well muscled to only have done 'hacking'....
 
Worth a look at that price, but ditto others - I would prefer to see ridden pics/a vid.

It all seems pretty genuine though - an inexperienced person has been overhorsed and hasn't brought him on enough to sell at a decent price.

Decent project horse by the looks of things.

I agree, i think he looks very nice and is obviously very talented! I think that at that price he could be well worth a look, even if it takes you a few years and alot of hard work you would end up with a quality horse. That just my opinion, i dont know any of the story so he might be awful!
 
too cheap, but worth a look if you are experienced but beware of what habits he has learnt! And be aware those pics may be from 2yrs ago, or yesterday!
