Think about what's really important to you and then be very specific about your questions. For example, they have put good to hack but if hacking is a must-do for you, then ask them about lots of scenarios - is he good alone, in company, with tractors, dogs etc. Some people will tell you only what you ask. Phone before you leave to ask if he's got all 4 shoes still on and if he's sound. I've been bitten by this on many occasions. You get there for the viewing and the horse has mysteriously pulled a shoe off that morning or teaked something. Most people are honest but not everyone. If they are serious about seling and sensible people, they won't mind you asking lots of questions. Just be upfront and say you're really interested but you want to make sure it's worth a trip so can they bear with you whilst you ask for lots of detail.

Depends what you want to do with it, I find that things like past injurys, show name if it's registered with BE or BSJA so you can check it's record and just general questions like what bit it goes in, why it's being sold and things. it also make sit easier if you type out what you want to ask and save it so if you ring up about more you can ask the same questions which makes it easier to compare.

Hi
Very sexy looking horse- At that age you need to know when was he broken and by who if possible- how many owners- what has he done so far ? hacking - how much schooling ? Has he been jumped ? vet check a must as have been reading alot of sites recently with young horses who have arthritis cos they have done too much too soon- good luck he looks stunning x

This looks like a serious horse for a serious rider. I suspect that they will be looking for an experienced competition home for it. If that is what you're offering yes it's well worth a look.

However, if you're looking for a fun weekend type of horse - this is not for you, I would suggest.

Badly ridden-rider is 'monkey up a stick' and horse overbent.Jumping Photo small so hard to judge although doesnt look bad.
TBVH, I dont think you are ready for this horse, if you have to ask you give me the idea of being young and lacking in experience.I could be wrong but I dont think so.I get the feeling that you would be unhappy together. Sorry, just my opinion. Mairi.
