Has anyone used this?. Is it any good or does it gather dust in a corner. I may consider it for myself as I am crap at getting on board from the ground, I normally get up from a chair. It could be useful on hacks, it could be attached to the D rings apparently.

Wouldn't it be easier to just let the stirrup down a few holes, or find a convenient log??

True, but the log may not always be there. The leathers on my saddle is quite still at the mo.

I see a lot of people out hunting have them, they are quite popular and useful if you have difficulty getting on

I've got one. Folds up into your pocket so is quite handy. Mine isn't quite the same design as that one though. I actually find mine a little too long. When I have my foot in it, I find I can't actually reach to get my leg over the top now as the saddle's seat is further away than my leg length!

Just goes to show how un-supple I am when it comes to getting on!

So, for me, it's gathering dust in the stable block.
