Thursday eve brought my horse in with heat in the tendon area and very slight swelling .It was hard to pick up as it was cold and had been raining.Friday kept him in all night very little swelling slight heat treated with danilon cold packs and support bandages.Saturday leg is black so bruise must have come out tiny swelling between knee and fetlock small restricted turnout back to stabling 75% of day on vets orders. Vets out tuesday for scan and check up.I picked up problems really early so Im hoping that there is no major trauma .Any ideas anyone
Its not as bad as last year when he had 10% tear so Im hoping its bruising only what do you all think.I found large skid areas in his paddock so I think he must have been hooling around with new mare.
