What do you think she is?

This horse is owned by one of my boarders - we were both chattering and wondered what age, breed and height do you think this horse is? And what do you think of her conformation?

She is NOT a quarter horse by the way but she does have papers. Owner is an English rider.

I should have said - the owner is an English rider and that she doesn't like QH's so no she isn't that LOL! Good guess though!

She's pretty

I would say fairly young, so under six as still looks quite croup high in those pics
About 15-15.2hh, breed no dea! Possibley quarter horse? Bit of arab in there! Hedging my bets now!

Conformation
Nice bottom although tail set a little low.
Nice length of forearm and sloping shoulder.
Feet are a bit boxy and has quite upright pasterns
Would prefer her hindlegs to be a little more underneath her
Nice, sweet intelligent head
Could do with more topline

Generally though a nice looking little mare.

ETS just seen she is not QH. How about TB or anglo arab?

Is she a TB? She looks like a cow

in the respect that she has a big bum, and her front end needs to catch up.

From that observation I'd guess at about 3y.o. but I'm probably miles wrong

Your conformation conclusions are very good! This is exactly what she is like in real life. Everything else was not right though.

Shes got a foalie tail! So would put her 2/3yrs old?

STill looks slightly out of proportion, back legs look too long for her, and she is very croup high. Sweet face though!

Havent the foggiest about breeding, poss TBx??

Oh, and would say about 16hh....

Would it surprise you to know that she is 2 years old and is 16.1hh?

No-one has guessed the breed yet - she isn't QH - she is a purebred with full papers and a very good pedigree.

Is she a breed that would be traditionally british rather than a US breed?

She does look young so 2 ish, and still growing. Looks bigger than our 15.2 TB but not got much bone so looking like a TB but, I'm thinking not as she'd be ganglier and not that big yet.

Hmmmmm.
