What do you think to this mare........

she looks like a fun horse. I like her and from the little that can be seen confo wise, she doesn't seem to have any glaring problems. Would like to see her stood up untacked though. Worth a visit imo :)
 
Read the advert again. Seven means rising 8 this time, broken last year as a 6 year old - why ? or maybe the truth is somebody had a go at 4, made a mess and some one else has had another go. Advert says 'confident' rider needed to further education. That is clever wording suggesting you need to be brave and/or daft as a brush to get on it.

Having said that the action pictures are nice and fit in with the claim to riding her six months ago, the xc snap is at harvest time. Looks more turbo cob than dope on a rope but worth a look if she is not destined to be bought for a first horse.
 
I m currently looking for a horse to share with family members 1 a beginner rider, and this mare has come up on my searches. I discounted her because
1 she has done much in a short time- possibly she has been a broodmare , but ex broodies often get back problems
2how can she be 100% when she hasnt a great deal of experience?
3 is she so good because she shard worked?
with all these ?? I wouldnt be interested - but then Im over cautious, as getting on in years, and falling off/reschooling/sorting out problems does not appeal anymore. I m prepared to wait for a true genuine hoss to come my way, luckily the family are in no grst hurry either!
 
If you're looking for a 'turbo cob' (good phrase AA!) then she looks like she might be fun and fizzy. If you're a nervous or novice then I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

This is exactly what I thought, I like her too, just look at the pop in her jump and how high she tucks her legs up when jumping. Yep, looks very fun, if I were looking and I wanted a cob type fun horse to do a bit of everything I'd definitely take the trip.

I do get what AA was just saying, but there was a thread just the other day on which a number of people don't back until six, it could have been for any number of non sinister reasons, raising a family, work commitments, college, personal preference, or they could have bought her from a field by someone who hadn't done anything and backed her. Either way, it doesn't detract from her being a very nice fun looking sort. If you like her, ask for some confo photos untacked, go see her, try her out, for gods sake if that all goes well get a full five stage vetting, and snap her up if she is what she seems, she seems well priced too.

Bearing the above in mind, also would like to say that my cob looked exactly like this, she would beat most horses on xc and was bolder than them all. She hunted, showed, hacked, schooled, jumped, did everything with with a rocket fuel look, but she was so easy to ride, so responsible and responsible and not at all strong. As much as she could look like the horse in the advert, you could ride her on the buckle if you wanted to.

I agree the pictures show the rider tipped over the horses neck with the hands fixed down and the horse neck is restricted In the jumping shots alarm bells for me there on two fronts if that's the riders that's been training her I would be expecting big gaps in the basic training and the if they think if a great idea to show a photo like the jumping an ad that's not great either .
Looks like a green turbo cob to me might be a fun horse for the right rider tough.
