For those that have not seen my post in Vets. My 4 year old WC has gone lame in both front feet. Vet is coming on Tues for more tests and to hopefully rule out navicular. HOWEVER having thought about this a bit over night I am now wondering, even if it isn't navicular is it likely that he could EVER stay sound when he has hardly done anything. ie lame in one leg thro messing around in the field can happen at anytime BUT both. there must surely be a weakness there in the first place ???

After having so much trouble for so so long with my last horse (7yrs) I do not want to go there again

I am looking for something that will compete at riding club at SJ, XC and dr and I am doubtful if this lad is going to be strong enough???

Thoughts please

That sounds like a terrible situation. To be quite honest without seeing the horse it is difficult to comment. When the next lot of tests are done I think you need to talk through the situation with your vet and get an accurate appraisal of what the future is likely to hold. Really the outcome depends on what they find. I really feel for you as this is such a horrible position for you and the horse to be in. X
