Just wandering as I found a half eaten bird in my boys field (by a fox, not by him!) and wandered if he knew the fox was there/chased the fox/got chased by the fox etc! Lol!

Does anyone else ever wander what they get up to after you've said goodnight?

Judging by the mess that I find in the mornings I think he must be throwing parties.

I've found straw in the eaves, splashes on the wall and a big hole in his bed; oh, and an innocent expression on his face.

Well earlier this week one of mine decided to escape and go for a little trot down the lane - luckily we were sleeping with the bedroom window open and I heard a very familiar noise at about midnight... to be fair to him, some numpty walker had left the gate open, there's a right of way through our field unfortunately. He's a good boy though, he's only a baby and was a bit panicky at finding himself out in the dark, as soon as he heard me he came trotting back again!

Gosh that was lucky. I'd have that gate padlocked and a stile put in pronto.
We have cameras on the stables for foaling but I often watch in the evenings if they're in when were not expecting. I love watching them when when no ones around, much more interesting than the tv.

I'd love to know! If he's out, he's covered in mud, even when it's been dry weather (is he making his own puddles?!?!), when he's in he's covered in poo stains. He ruins every rug he wears by getting every square inch covered in stains - does he poo then roll around on it like a dog?!?

 :D

In the stable - he has a party evey night - roughly 20 horses plus by the mess the next morning! Oh and tries to injure him self one way or another not sure if this is after a few beers or not. :)

In the field - they are both busy making a dens. Not joking there are tunnels though the gorse and there are little circle den areas in the gorse. You can tell I have geldings - boys will be boys! :)

I would love to know. I know he must lie down as the long grass is squashed or there are white hairs in big patches where he has rolled.

I too find half eaten pidgeons and probably fox etc and wonder if he just lets it pass him by whilst some poor bird is getting murdered? I would love to spy on him to see what he gets up to. Its really unsual to catch him lying down I think he is a scaredy cat!

I think he has his head surgically attached ground eating :P all of the herd have 9am lying down siesta, its quite cute, but means they must of

Hi,

My lad's out with all the boys ATM - I'd like to think they're having parties, breaking down the gate to let the girls in, updating their Facetube status's, trotting off down to the pub, etc

- but in reality I suspect him and his buddy are eating, rolling in mud and sleeping. :D - if only life was that simple for us?
