(Also in competition riders)

I am going to see this boy next friday. I my very sceptical little way I googled the mobile number and I came up with 2 additional horses for sale!! Is this a trader, although they say they are private?

Also they said he was reasonably priced because of the credit crunch, but one of the other horses is £7000!!! He is at Bury Farm in Buckinghamshire.

So, here he is http://www.horsedeals.co.uk/ItemDetail.aspx?ProductCode=01-12-08-54048

I think he looks lovely, but I am always so wary of falling into a big dark hole!

It does seem vague... and he looks bigger than 16hh? Or she could be rather small? He is very handsome though, would be worth a look.

Hmm, I don't know. He looks nice enough but I would never spend that sort of money personally (but the that's just me cos I believe you can get very decent horses for a lot less) and as Jellicle says - what has it done? I would expect SJ wise some BSJA winnings at the very least. He looks a nice enough type though.

I thought he looked bigger then 16.1.

I asked about the jumping and they said he competed with his past owners and didn't give much detail. I focused mainly on how same he really is.

I am going on Friday and taking a good freind.

I agree it is alot of money, right at the top end of my budget plus a bit more (I always try to negotiate!!). But I am finding it hard to find what I am looking for (I have a couple of other posts on this issue!!)

I think he looks nice & worth a look. Advertising as private when they are selling others seems a bit dubious.

I couldn't find anything for that budget either last year, thought it would be a bit easier at the moment, but perhaps not. I don't know where people get all there so called cheap horses, that don't have some issue or other.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.
