I was told today that a big lorry came upto the gate at the end of the drive like it was reversing .it was early hours of last thursday morning.The horse/pony hide at night. I am worried sick now.,The area is built up and the lorry wqas heard.I am still conserned,am I being paranoid?

At early hours in the morning,up a lane off main road? Theres only one way in and one way out on that lane.

Well that would be why he'd need to turn around then...

These poles end up all over the place in their lorries! I wouldn't be overly concerned.

Not trying to worry you but you may like to think about modifying your post a little. This section is available to Joe Public and what you have just described is a detailed explanation of the geography where your horses are kept. If you have ever said or do say where your horses are, ie town, county etc then people reading this may have an idea where they are, especially since we have sites like Google Earth and Multimap where you can see aerial shots of places.
Just a thought as you never know what tactics horse thieves use these days to gain information about possible targets.

Sat Navs can send lorries to funny places

i can remeber a few being in the news for going up some roads which werent made for lorries and getting stuck... id say nearly all lorry drivers will use sat navs (as in haulage, delivery lorries) so maybe they where lost?

if they wanted to take you horses i dont think they'd drive to u, go home and come another day? its a bit of an effort in my opinion
