what do you think?

It looks like a nice saddle, I looked at their cob type model about a year ago and liked it a lot, I didn't get one in the end but not the saddle's fault. The woman who fits my saddles thought it was a lovely saddle too and she is very fussy! So, no help with your saddle at all really!

HI!

I have just swapped my 5yo roundish TB from a wintec to a gfs pro- event...

I love it!! sits nicely into his back where the wintec seemed to purch and is very very very comfortable!

Have also just bought the new GFS Humane Bridle, really nice leather but does come up small.

Hope it helps?

sorry about the late reply!!! - thanks to those who replied :)

im considering looking into one of these for her!.... i dont mind paying 7/800 for a saddle as long as it will change and always fit her!!....were in a wintec atm which is nice but i want a "proper" saddle for her as she is definately a keeper now :)

i will get the saddler out soon as i want to be out jumping... however im going to ask my friend nicely if i can borrow her saddle for my horse soon so i can see what they are like (its the leather non changable one and its lovely - hence wanting one!)

any other opinions welcome - very helpful!

just because it has changeable gullets doesn't mean it will fit. It looks a lovely saddle but you have to bear in mind the shape of horses backs, ie straight, curved etc that one looks like it curves up a little at the back, would this suit your horse?

Also look at the kent and masters saddles they too have changeable gullets and same price

ok thanks :)

shes quite flat... but shes currently in a wintec which fits fine (she also has a halfpad)

will check out others too :)

i do like bates saddles aswell so thats a possibility :)

i have had a gfs pro event (non changable) and loved it!

I now have a GFS genesis synthetic adjustable - it is identical to the one in your link but i couldnt afford a leather one so it is the synthetic. Have to say i am very very impressed with it though and would definately recommend.

So basically it's thumbs up!

dosent have to be leather - i like synethetic too - even more for the price (under £300 on ebay new!)

i dont mind getting a synthetic one for this season as i currently have awintec synthetic and i love it :)

most people see rain and are like "oh nooo my saddle"! i just tack up and ride in the rain, wipe it clean, dont worry about it etc

mabey i should get a synthetic version this season and leather next?

^^^ thanks

ive been instructed to buy a synthetic one for now and get her a "grown up saddle" next year - which i agree with

ive waited this long as i wanted to check i was keeping her lol!....was going to wait until april but shes more than proved herself, espeiclaly today where she saved my butt :) :)

Lovely saddles- I have one and it's fab :) Very comfy although if you are long in your thigh and do alot of jumping with short stirrups it isn't the best unfortunately for me- my knees nearly come over the front :( Brilliant saddle other than that though

thanks all :)

decided to go for the GFS synthetic one and get a nice jump saddle in a few months if she takes to jumping... if not - we already have a dressage saddle :)
