what do you think?

Poor horse is my immediate thought...
Probably been purchased by owners who didn't understand the breed and been passed from pillar to post, ending up with dealers. Hope he finds a nice home.

Was trying to work out the logistics of having a horse at the mo when I spotted him the other day. He's my dream horse, colour, height, breed! His face is so sweet too, but he doesn't look the best condition ever.

He has a short neck and the way that he's overbent in the second pic makes it look even shorter. At 5yrs old, his neck might grow a tiny bit longer.

However he is only £900, so I wouldn't expect perfection or a top class show horse. If he is sound and has a nice temperament then he would be worth a look if you are after a fun, low level allrounder. If he turns out to be more talented than that, then that's a bonus.

I feel very sorry for him. I do think he would look totally different with a bath, groom and decent feeding.
He really has caught my eye, but I just dont think he is worth £900. What do you reckon I could barter it down to?

I know that the horse market is rubbish at the moment, but if he's sound and safe, then it's not a lot of money (he's a cheap horse anyway IMO). Also £900 is a drop in the ocean compared to how much you will spend keeping him. If you get a few quid off - great, but i would want him vetted (2 stage probably).
