I have been thinking about getting a youngster to play with!
A- my horse is kept on her own and have been thinking of getting her a companion
B- I have two stables and two acres, so it would be silly for the stable to go to waste for another winter!
C- It will fill my spare time up!

But the only problem is funds! I have £500 to spend, which I have been saving for a while.
Do you think I would pick p a filly for that?
Or shall I save up some more???

You could get a foal for that, but then of course you wont really be able to do any proper work for a few years!

So it depends what you want, something to break immediately, in which case save, or a companion, in which case a pony or a foal I guess you could get for your budget.

go for it £500 should get you a decent youngster, i think its good to get a foal tho so you can bond with it for a couple of years before you get down to the nitty gritty
